– Will my Botox injection wrinkle treatment be painful?

The fear of feeling pain during injections is very common in patients. We proceed very safely in specific areas, and the treatment generates only mild discomfort. When the session is over, most patients are surprised at how painless the treatment was.

– What are the possible side effects of a Botox injection?

When the injections are given by a very experienced person, the risk of serious side effects is extremely rare. In addition, the doses of BOTOX Cosmetic™ that we use in our wrinkle treatments are low and do not cause any pronounced side effects. The most common side effects observed are a mild temporary headache, as well as redness, irritation, and swelling at the injection site.

– How long does it take before I see the final result of my treatment?

Upon injection of BOTOX Cosmetic™, the proteins will reach the nerve endings in less than 30 minutes. After a few days, the muscles will start to relax, which will reduce the wrinkles, and you will be able to see the maximum results after two weeks.

– Will I have a frozen appearance after my Botox treatment?

Our staff members who perform BOTOX Cosmetic™ injections are highly qualified, and the wrinkle treatments are carried out to produce results that will be as natural as possible. It should be noted that each additional session allows for a more effective result. However, we recommend that you avoid touching or massaging the treatment area for a period of four hours following the injection. – Will anyone around me notice that I had Botox injections?

– For how long do the results of a Botox wrinkle treatment remain visible?

First, you have to understand that the results of this type of treatment are not permanent. You will need to repeat the treatment every 4 to 6 months in order to maintain the results. Once you stop receiving BOTOX Cosmetic™ treatments, the muscles will slowly regain their ability to contract, and the wrinkles will return.

– Can men enjoy the benefits of a Botox injection?

Whether you are a man or a woman, wrinkle treatments with BOTOX Cosmetic™ injections will be just as effective for you. The dosage should also be adjusted upward in men for a similar effect.

– When can I return to work following my wrinkle treatment?

You can return to work right after your wrinkle treatment without any problems and resume most of your activities. Please allow 4 hours after your session before touching the treated area and resuming exercise.

– What are the points to consider before starting wrinkle treatments?

If you are planning to proceed with BOTOX Cosmetic™ injection wrinkle treatments, you should understand that this is a long-term commitment. You should also note that your body will eliminate neuromodulators over the months. Therefore, the results will remain present only for a maximum period of 3 to 6 months depending on the area treated. You will then need to repeat your treatments in order to maintain and improve the results and to delay the appearance of new wrinkles.

– Can I exercise after my Botox wrinkle treatment?

Of course! You can resume moderate exercise 4 hours after your BOTOX Cosmetic™ injection session. This delay is necessary to prevent the neuromodulators from migrating.

– Are there any people who cannot have Botox injections?

Yes. In some cases, your doctor may advise against having wrinkle treatments with injections. This is why you must tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a neuromuscular pathology, or are taking blood thinners, anti-inflammatory drugs, or antibiotics. If you have any of these conditions, we do not recommend using BOTOX Cosmetic™ treatment.

– After 60, am I too old to start a wrinkle treatment?

It’s never too late to have wrinkle treatments by injections and to improve your appearance!

As mentioned above, BOTOX Cosmetic™ injections are also used as a preventative measure and may help delay the onset of other wrinkles. You can also combine your anti-aging treatment with injections of a filler called hyaluronic acid. This molecule is found naturally in your body and is metabolized just like neuromodulators. It is used to correct asymmetry or to restore volume to certain areas of the face. Finally, in separate sessions, you can have photorejuvenation treatments done.
