In general, face surgery is associated with a facelift, but it encompasses several types of procedures that can be very localized or more general. They will also be more or less invasive depending on the procedure, therefore the duration of convalescence will vary according to the surgical approach proposed.

At Clinimedspa, our facial surgery procedures are aesthetic and minimally invasive. We offer facial lipo-firming procedures for treating wrinkles and sagging skin. We use radiofrequency thermal energy which provides a lifting effect on the skin. This minimally invasive approach allows us to redefine the contours of the face. In some cases, this allows patients to avoid the need for invasive facelift surgery.

Then we have eyelid surgery which is also called partial or complete blepharoplasty. This procedure makes it possible to rejuvenate the appearance of the eyelids in order to restore a more radiant look.

—What type of anesthesia do you use?

Our face surgery procedures are performed on an outpatient basis at our clinic and under local anesthesia with sedation. Our approach allows a faster post-operative recovery to the patients and does not require hospitalization.

—Do your procedures leave long scars?

Unlike some more invasive facial surgery, our procedures do not leave long unsightly visible scars. Some of our procedures do not require any incision, such as Fractora or Morpheus 8 fractional radiofrequency treatments.

—Can we combine a face surgery with other procedures?

Face surgery can be combined with aesthetic cares like photorejuvenation treatments, by injection of neuromodulators or fillers. They are used for treating wrinkles, regenerate the skin, restore volume or to rectify an asymmetrical face.

BLEPHAROPLASTY

Blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery is a procedure performed under local anesthesia with sedation. This surgery is offered to rejuvenate and restore a more radiant and rested appearance. We will also use it to eliminate bags under the eyes and correct heavy eyelids which make the eyes look tired.

ACCUTITE

ACCUtite is part of the Bodytite and Facetite family of skin tightening solutions that use dual polarity radiofrequency energy. It represents the smallest skin contraction device in aesthetic care. We use it particularly as part of a face lifting treatment on the cheeks, eyes and forehead. The quality of this treatment makes it possible in some cases to avoid surgical face lift. We also use Accutite to treat and firm small areas of the body.
