Procedure

Keratosis is treated under local anesthesia using electrocautery to effectively remove the lesion. This method burns and cauterizes the tissue in a controlled manner, leading to the formation of a scab that naturally falls off within 7 to 10 days, without the need for stitches.

Results and follow-up

Patients can generally expect complete healing with a low risk of recurrence in the same area. Mild hypopigmentation may occur but is usually well tolerated given the removal of the lesion. Post-treatment follow-up is provided as needed to ensure satisfaction with the results and monitor any skin changes.
